17th Annual Economic Development Update Breakfast 

Please join us on Friday, January 11, 2019 for Cocoa's 17th Annual Economic Development Update Breakfast beginning at 7:30am at the Cocoa Civic Center, Main Ballroom (430 Delannoy Ave., Cocoa, FL 32922).  Learn about the growth and development in Cocoa over the past year and how working together as one community builds the strength and prosperity needed for Cocoa's future.  Registration is free and complimentary hot breakfast will be provided.

Keynote Speaker - Eddy Moratin

Partnerships that lead to Community Transformation

Eddy Moratin is the Executive Director of LIFT Orlando, a non-profit organization founded by business leaders to partner with neighborhood residents and accelerate community transformation. Its mission is to break the cycle of poverty through holistic neighborhood revitalization, mixed-income housing, cradle to career education, wellness and economic opportunity.

Prior to joining LIFT Orlando, Eddy spent seven years as the Executive Director of Lifework Leadership Orlando, a premier leadership development organization. During this time he also served as Senior Fellow at PathNorth in Washington D.C. helping senior leaders around the country broaden their definition of success. As a social-entrepreneur, he believes in the power of creating jobs to transform lives and entire communities. He was the co-founder of BAM, LLC, a holding company for shared officing and remote receptionist franchises in Central Florida and helped launch a minority-certified call center enterprise employing hundreds domestically and abroad.

Eddy has a passion for encouraging others to realize their full potential and to use their individual gifts and influence for the betterment of the whole community. Eddy lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Giselle and their two children, Isabella and Kristopher.
