The City of Cocoa has a number of various boards and committees comprised of residents, business owners and others to assist City Council in their decision making processes. It is also a great way for residents to engage with and learn more about their local government.
The Code Enforcement Board is made up of seven members and two alternate members. This board hears and decides alleged violations of certain codes of the City and hears drug related nuisance cases. This board is also responsible for hearing
requests for reductions in code liens and those decision then go to City Council.
This board’s members serve for a term of three years. The board meets the third Thursday of each month at 6pm in City Council Chambers.
There are currently two vacancies on this board, one for a regular member and one for an alternate member. If you are interested in serving on this board, please visit our Boards & Committees page
