There have been a number of community
cleanup events held where a number of volunteers have come out to keep Cocoa beautiful.
The Cocoa Rotary Club adopted Provost Park and holds a regular cleanup event where members join together to keep that park clean of trash and debris.
District 2 Councilman, Lavander Hearn held a community cleanup event along Fiske Blvd in February where members of the community and City Council came out to help pickup trash along the heavily trafficked roadway.
A Cocoa Village Chapter of Keep Brevard Beautiful has been established to hold regular cleanup events in the Cocoa Village area.
In April, the City of Cocoa will be participating in the annual Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) Trash Bash event. Groups of no more than ten people can register through KBB’s mobile app for a location in the City and pick up and log trash through the app on April 3rd or 4th. The City of Cocoa will be competing against other municipalities in Brevard to see who can recruit the most volunteers and pick up the most trash. The City of Cocoa has won this event for many years and we need your help to keep that
tradition going. Sign up your group today for a location in Cocoa!
