The City of Cocoa lost four of our great volunteers this past quarter including Adrian Moss-Beasley, Mike Cicerrella, Mathew Ford, and Barbara Jenkins. Adrian Moss-Beasley served on the Diamond Square Community Redevelopment Agency for many years where he worked tirelessly to better that community. He was a graduate of Cocoa High School where he served as captain of the football team.
Mike Cicerrella served our community on the Code Enforcement board for many years. He was also an avid volunteer and financial contributor of the Cocoa High School Band. Mathew Ford served on the City of Cocoa’s Board of Adjustment for nearly 20 years. Mathew was honored as the 2016 City of Cocoa Volunteer of the Year for his contributions to our community. He
also proudly served in the Army.
Barbara Jenkins served on a number of boards for the City of Cocoa including the Beautification Advisory Council, Human Relations Board, Cocoa Housing Authority and the Advisory Board for the Cocoa Police Department. In recognition of her many contributions to the Cocoa community, the City of Cocoa re-named the street where she lived Barbara Jenkins Street in her honor.
We are so thankful for the many contributions these fine residents gave to our community.
