With about 70 student members annually, the Rotaract Club of Eastern Florida State College is one of the largest and most active clubs at the college. This great group supports the community through symbiotic campus-community collaboration and engages both members and non-members in at least 80 on-campus and community based service projects yearly.
One of those partnerships is with the City of Cocoa. Members from this organization volunteer at nearly every City sponsored special event. Students assist with different event activities including set-up, activity management, clean-up and more. They are an integral part of our special events and work hard to help us ensure a successful event for the community. We are very lucky to have such a great organization in the community.
As part of the many service opportunities members receive, student volunteers learn and excute important lessons in project management, problem-solving , volunteer coordination, public safety, customer service, conflict resolution and handling large amounts of money.
