Hurricane Dorian: State of Emergency Declared in Cocoa

At a special Council Meeting held at 12pm, Cocoa City Council declared a local State of Emergency for the Cocoa community.

At a special Council Meeting held at 12pm, Cocoa City Council declared a local State of Emergency for the Cocoa community due to the impending threat of Hurricane Dorian. This is done to provide for continuity of government during a disaster situation. City staff is continuing to monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and the Emergency Operations Center will be activated within the next few days. We will continue to update the community as information becomes available on our website (www.CocoaFL.org) and our social media pages.
