Highland Drive Railroad Closure 4/30-5/22

Highland Drive railroad crossing will be closed for Brightline construction starting 4/30/2022. The work is expected to be completed 5/22/2022.

Starting 4/30/22, the Highland Dr. railroad crossing will be closed for Brightline construction. The work is expected to be completed by 5/22/22, however delays may occur. Please plan accordingly.
The recommended detour route is Peachtree Blvd.

City of Cocoa Utilities crews worked through the night to secure the main break along A1A in Cocoa Beach. The roadway is back open again but there is one lane southbound still blocked as crews finish addressing the break. There was no need to issue any precautionary boil water notices in the area. Crews are still working to secure water to the church.
