Councilman Don Boisvert - District 3

I am the proud father of four children and grandfather of six grandchildren, and originally from Manchester, New Hampshire, where I served as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Manchester Police Department as well as the New Hampshire State Police.

I have served as a Cocoa Police Department V-COP for the past 4.5 years, putting in more than 6,500 volunteer hours. I was awarded V-COP of the year in 2007.

I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, retired from "The Union Leader", Manchester’s best-selling newspaper, past commander of the American Legion (Post 79), a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a current member of the Cocoa Elks. I also served five years as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and served as Cocoa's Deputy Mayor from November 2011 through November 14, 2012.

My ultimate goal as Councilman is to do everything in my power to make the city of Cocoa a better and safer place to live. I will strive to make a difference in the community and will loyally serve the citizens of District 3 and the city of Cocoa to the best of my ability.
