This year’s event will be held at Riverfront Park in downtown Cocoa from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and will feature food, games, prizes, live entertainment, Fiesta Hat Contest, salsa dance lessons and more. The non-profit organizations will also be providing information and resources about local programs throughout Brevard County and the Cocoa Police Department. Advance tickets can be purchased for $10 through the Cocoa Community First non-profit Thrift Shop at 801 Dixon Blvd., or by contacting the Cocoa Police Department Public Information Office at 321-243-7812. There is also an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for $5 each or 5 for $20. The money from ticket sales goes directly to the Cocoa Community First non-profit which funds all of the police department’s community outreach programs including the Cocoa Police Athletic League. “This is a great way to support our non-profit and have a great time as well,” said Chief Mike Cantaloupe.
