The Cocoa Police Department

Cocoa Police Department is a diverse and proactive accredited agency. Its focus changes each year to positively respond to your community's changing safety needs though its core values including compassion, respect, and professionalism.

The department's focus this year is on its community relations and policing efforts. Each one is an opportunity for officers to meet and communicate with citizens and businesses on a city-wide basis while patrolling districts and maintaining a positive police presence.

The department strives to provide a 24 hour response while helping each of you have a safer and better quality of life in Cocoa.
The Cocoa Police Department is currently seeking information in the shooting death of James Edward Brundige.  On May 27, 2013, he was in his vehicle in the area of 1010 N. Fiske Blvd. when he was shot.  He then traveled to 1080 N.
