The City of Cocoa has homes available for sale in the Regina Myra Subdivision (345 & 349 Lucas Lane and 400 & 404 D Street) through a project funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) HOME Investment Partnership Program. Potential buyers will be restricted by income. The homes must be purchased as permanent residences, no rentals. The home will be secured by a lien on the property to maintain homeownership. All potential buyers are required to attend a homebuyer education class and must be able to secure a first mortgage from an approved lending institution. Construction is underway with buyers occupying the homes in 2017. Down payment and closing cost assistance MAY BE available to eligible buyers.
Buyers will be required to contribute at least $750 of their own funds towards the purchase of the home.
Call Community Housing Initiative for more information (321) 253-0053.
This project is funded by the U.S Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), a partnership with Brevard County and the City of Palm Bay.
