Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Please join us at Cocoa Riverfront Park, 401 Riveredge Blvd., Cocoa for  an event that is aimed at fostering a cultural change about Sexual Assault Awareness.  The Women's Center of Melbourne in partnership with the City of Cocoa and the Cocoa Police Department will host a Sexual Assault Awareness Month event on Saturday, April 29th beginning at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.  We can all use our voices to change the culture and prevent sexual violence.  Social change and prevention requires addressing the root causes and social norms that allow sexual violence to exist.  This April, we are calling on individuals and groups whose influence can play a critical role in changing the culture:  Community Members, Families, Greek Life, Parents, Coaches, Faith Leaders and Survivors.  Join us on April 29th at Riverfront Park to learn more and be part of the solution.
