Councilwoman Brenda Warner-District 2

For almost two decades, I have been committed to building a solid foundation for Cocoa’s future. First elected to Cocoa City Council in 1999, I partnered with residents, business owners and community leaders to encourage smart development, economic revitalization and safe streets.

My proven experience reaches past Council chambers. I have chaired the Titusville Chamber Government Affairs Committee and been a member of the Cocoa Police Advisory Board, Cocoa Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and the Downtown Redevelopment Agency. I currently serve on the Brevard County Affordable Housing Council, the County Affordable Housing Task Force, the Cocoa US 1 Corridor Redevelopment Agency, and Cocoa Police Athletic League Board of Directors.

In my professional role as a Government Affairs Director, I have fought for strong, safe communities by advocating for affordable housing and property rights, monitoring local government, and educating Realtors in the local government process.

A Cocoa resident for nearly 40 years, I love to spend her free time walking my three dogs in Cocoa’s parks. My daughter Angela now lives in Atlanta but still proudly claims Cocoa as home.
